Who Are Our Readers?
Published locally since 1980, The Senior Voice reaches over 100,000 residents in the Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland areas.
The average age of our readers is 51. Most attended college, own their homes, and travel often, according to our surveys. That age group has twice the disposable income of other consumer groups, say the U.S. Consumer Research Center and other researchers. It is the fastest growing population in northern Colorado; and 75 percent of them read newspapers, according to Scarborough Research. USA Today Newspaper says, “50-somethings spend more on products and services than any other age group.”
They are also very active, according to groups like the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA). “The person who skis the most in a given year is 65 and older,” said NSAA president Michael Berry in Denver.
